DESCRIPTION
We are currently seeking a Behavior Specialist/Shift Supervisor.
The Behavior Specialist/Shift Supervisor will ensure the provision of the highest quality of services to the youth in our care by creating a learning environment which is safe, respectful and positive for all. They will have a working knowledge of Brandon''s Mission and philosophy, understand and follow all policies and procedures, and work as a team member.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree required; Experience working in school setting preferred. Training in the principals of behavioral analysis and programming preferred or willingness to pursue. Valid driver-s license. Valid DEEC CORI/Background check.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Assist the operations manager with providing leadership, support and supervision to the team to include assistance with staff coverage, scheduling, and requested time off minimizing the use of overtime during school days, vacations, holidays.
2. Provide active support to students unable to remain in the classroom setting utilizing appropriate alternative settings.
3. Implement individual treatment plans for clients assigned to your site by collecting and analyzing behavioral data while using clinical and practical knowledge and best practice in line with Brandon-s clinical model.
4. Support the professional development of teacher assistants by providing guidance in the development of behavioral plans, mentoring and appropriate role modeling.
5. Provide leadership and training to staff in order to carry out the mission of Brandon-s overarching clinical model to support students.
6. Evaluate client progress towards educational and therapeutic goals and develop appropriate strategies utilizing the tenets of our clinical model, related behavior management systems, treatment team, and creating thinking to ensure movement towards client-s goals.
7. Set and maintain consistent/constructive limits and provide corrective/learning experiences for students.
8. Actively participate in department meetings, treatment team, and conferences.
9. Actively plan and participate in assigned activities.
10. Attend orientation and assigned trainings. Track personal training hours to ensure completion of yearly mandatory trainings and target hours.
11. Complete all paperwork in a timely fashion including daily documentation, weekly assessment reports etc.
12. Maintain an organized, neat, and stimulating school environment.
13. Serve as a role model for clients.
14. Provide leadership and training to staff in order to implement appropriate sensory integration techniques with students.
15. Use and reassess behavior management systems for individual clients, combining firm limit setting, discipline and therapeutic non-violent physical intervention if needed.
16. Communicate job related information effectively/professionally to members of the Brandon community utilizing the agency-s extranet/email systems and direct/personal interactions.
17. Assume leadership responsibilities in running cluster meetings and shifts as required.
18. Upon completion of BRTC transportation orientation will drive a BRTC vehicle as needed.
19. Perform other duties and responsibilities as directed.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
