The Librarian role will also involve developing and implementing library services and procedures, as well as maintaining relationships with our customers.

Responsibilities Manage the storage, retrieval, and retrieval of library materials (e.

)in accordance with Town of Natick policies and procedures.
Maintain the condition and usability of library materials and equipment.
Manage the delivery of library materials to the reference section by using a separate vehicle for each discipline.
Ensure that customers receive all services in a timely manner.
Develop and implement library services for customers including but not limited to cataloging, online cataloging, online searching, book ordering, internet ordering, interlibrary loan service, access control system management, and circulation control.
Maintain relationships with customers including but not limited to contacting customers about overdue items, customer complaints etc.
Keep records of inventory of books, periodicals etc.
and maintain a stock of books in libraries all over the world.
Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
