The Parts Advisor position is an important member of our parts department, dealership, and overall success of the company.
The main function of this position is assisting wholesale customers over the phone, retail customers, and backup of the internal parts counter.
This position is primarily responsible for, but not limited to following:
Selling parts to all customers, over the counter, through the shop, or on the phone.
Assisting customer with parts needs, assisting technicians with parts needs, properly ordering and processing special ordered parts, maintaining and organizing stock and warehouse.
Assists all customers (retail and shop) in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
Communicates effectively with other members of the team and manager to ensure the success of the Parts Department Responsible for payment transactions and record keeping for all repair orders, invoices, insurance estimates, and special order parts.
Participates in all training programs that are made available.
Keeps current on new products and product updates Replenishes assigned inventory daily and sets up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up.
Maintains professional appearance and contributes to a clean and safe working environment
Qualifications:
Valid driver's license , good driving record and ability to maintain it Must be 21 years old At least 1 years dealership parts experience, Audi, VW or Porsche experience preferred.
Good technical skills-experience with Reynolds & Reynolds a plus.
Excellent communication skills between customers, dispatch, and employees Good working relations with customers by providing courteous, efficient, and professional service Maintain a professional attitude, conduct, and appearance Ability to lift 50 lbs Ability to repeatedly bend or stoop to floor-level shelves and be able to reach upper shelves with the use of a ladder when necessary Reynolds and Reynolds experience is preferred but not required
