We are seeking a motivated, cheerful, reliable, and highly competent individual with excellent communication skills and work-ethic to join our fantastic team.
Optimal candidates are detail-oriented, well-organized, and well-spoken with a can-do attitude.
Duties - Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and friendly experience - Schedule patient appointments and manage the appointment calendar - Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional manner - Verify patient insurance information and collect co-pays or payments - Maintain patient records and update medical information as necessary - Assist with medical billing and coding processes - Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers as needed - Ensure the waiting area is clean and organized Requirements - Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar role preferred - Proficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, such as Epic or Dentrix - Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures - Familiarity with phone systems and ability to handle multiple calls simultaneously - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations calmly - High school diploma or equivalent required Note:
