Looking for an experienced Superintendent to join a well established GC with top notch company culture to lead projects in the public sector up to $70M. This candidate will be responsible for managing and supervising on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. They collaborate with subcontractors, communicate with project teams, and uphold quality standards to achieve successful project outcomes.

Description


Main duties and responsibilities include the following:


  • Oversee the day-to-day construction operations on-site, cooordinate with various construction teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure that the work is progressing as per the project plan, timeline, and quality standards.
  • Maintain high-quality construction standards throughout the project. Inspect workmanship, materials, and construction processes to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry best practices.
  • Keep the project on track and within the specified timeline. Create and update construction schedules, monitors progress, identifies potential delays, and takes proactive measures to mitigate any issues that may arise.
  • responsible for managing changes in scope, design modifications, and any unexpected challenges that may arise during construction
  • Responsible for helping to control costs and minimize waste. Work in conjunction with the project management team to track expenses and ensure adherence to the project budget.

Profile


In return for a generous compensation package, the successful candidates will possess the following:


  • 7
    years of experience building commercial projects
  • Must have Unrestricted CSL
  • Excellent communication & time-management skills
  • Familiarity with Procore and other softwares
  • The ability to lead a team effectively and efficiently
  • Experience in large scale commercial construction
