HR Learning & Organization Development Administrator

## Job Summary
This position is responsible for the day-to-day support and administration of the Human Resources Learning and Organization Development team. This includes coordination of all training programs, communication with internal staff and external vendors, as well as working as a member of the larger HR team on projects, as appropriate.
### Responsibilities
Coordination of day-to-day operations for department programs and services:
Serves as primary contact for training program registration, communication, and logistics
Uses Learning Management System to maintain up-to-date training calendar, department programs and materials, training records, and program evaluations
Manages the department calendar and inbox
Answers questions about current and upcoming programs
Advertises classes and ensures appropriate participant levels
Works closely with vendors regarding contracts, training schedules, program updates, materials required, etc.
Reconciles and processes department invoices
Works cross-functionally with other Learning and Development groups and with other HR team members here at MathWorks
### Minimum Qualifications
A bachelor's degree and 1 year of professional work experience, or 3 years of professional work experience is required.
### Preferred Qualifications
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Computer skills in MS office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with SharePoint, HRIS, or Learning Management Systems a plus.
Strong process orientation
Demonstrated analytical, critical thinking, and problem solving skills
Ability to multi-task with a minimal amount of direct supervision.
Detail-oriented; strong emphasis on quality
Comfort with manipulating and analyzing data; Excel spreadsheets / pivot tables, etc.
Strong project management skills
Customer service orientation
Confidence; comfort in reinforcing policy and best practices; ability to "push back" appropriately when needed

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
