Summary:
As an Assistant Store Manager you will be responsible for assisting the management and leadership of one of our new flagship stores. This will include driving sales performance as well as ensuring standards are met across all areas of the store, from the customer experience, people development, maintaining operational standards, to supporting the necessary elements of building and developing our flagship concept.
The Assistant Store Manager will work closely with Store Manager in the recruitment, selection, and development of the flagship stores team. This position requires a strong leader, extremely well organized, process oriented and quality minded individual that also possess the ability to bring people together in order to reach our common goal.
Essential Role Responsibilities:
Support Store Manager in overall store leadership and supervision
Drive brand awareness and brand advocacy to exceed projected store sales goals and regional performance
Aides recruiting, hiring, and monitors development of the store associates
Serve as an example in providing premium customer experience and build relationships with our consumers Support the Store Manager in maintaining high standards of visual merchandising and brand presentation
Ensure financial objectives and controls are consistently and correctly managed
In the absence of the Store Manager, provides the leadership necessary to ensure the store consistently operates to Tempur-Pedic standards
Foster and support a collaborative and open environment across all areas of the company
Role Requirements:
Bachelor's degree preferred
1-3 years retail management experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience) with high-end luxury and/or custom products
Strong sales skills in a consultative environment
Demonstrated ability to effectively lead, direct, and train others in a store setting
Skilled at current best practice retail methods, procedures, and standards
Demonstrated team player able to both lead and follow
Flexibility in work schedule reflecting the needs and patterns of store hours
Fluency with current retail software / computer systems

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
