Summary:
Under general supervision of the OR unit's nursing management the Perioperative Nurse plans and directs nursing care for patients undergoing operative and other invasive procedures. He/she performs nursing duties to ensure and the safe and quality patient care to all patients.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
The RN Circulator is responsible for managing the nursing care of the patient within the OR and coordinating the needs of the surgical team with other care providers necessary for completion of surgery. The circulator nurse observes the surgery and the surgical team from a broad perspective and assists the team to create and maintain a safe and comfortable environment for the patient. The circulator nurse assesses the patient's condition before, during, and after the operation to ensure an optimal outcome for the patient. The circulating nurse serves as the patient advocate while the patient is least able to care for him or herself. Performs duties of a circulating registered nurse as assigned. Assists physicians with procedures in the absence of other skilled personnel.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Current RN license - Massachusetts
The level of knowledge equivalent to that ordinarily acquired through completion of a Degree in nursing. BSN preferred.
Minimum of 3 years OR nursing experience. Orthopedic, Bariatric and Neuro surgery experience a plus.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Patient care environment; almost constant standing, walking and pushing/moving of patients and equipment. Exposure to patient elements.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
