Systems Design & Network Implementations Engineer

This is a field position that requires 25% travel on weekdays throughout Eastern Massachusetts, concentrated in MetroWest (Framingham/Natick) area.
Superior customer service skills are needed, to ensure our clients are appreciative. Excellent verbal and electronic communication skills, patience, adaptability, positive attitude, attention to detail, and a good sense of humor are necessary to succeed in this position. Organizational skills and the ability to prioritize are very important as this work is in a fast-paced environment that requires multi-tasking.
Hands-on activities will include (but not limited to):
-VMware support and installation
-Microsoft Windows Server administration and management
-Microsoft Exchange Server administration and management
-Troubleshoot, administer and manage Microsoft Windows' desktop OS
-Troubleshoot end-user software (ex: MS Office, Adobe Product Suite etc)
This is a support position to Project Managers and this person will directly interface with vendors, internal operations staff, and administrative personnel.

REQUIREMENTS
Ideally live within a 20-mile radius of Natick MA.
Minimum of 2-years experience installing and supporting Windows' servers, VMware, networks, and workstations.
Proven communication skills and be highly organized. Ability to think strategically and prioritize issues, knowing when to escalate (and not escalate) issues to TCG colleagues.
Experience deploying basic networks including Cable/DSL/FIOS modems, firewalls, hardware and software VPN clients.
Fluent in networking concepts: TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, DHCP, DNS, Routing, Switching and Firewalls.
Strong interpersonal skills, can-do attitude, curiosity to learn, and a desire to share your knowledge with colleagues.
At least one certification for any of the following: A+, N+, MCSE, MSA, MCP, CNE, CNA, and CCNA. Candidates with multiple certifications will have priority consideration.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
