Telecom / Cabling Technician

JOB DESCRIPTION
Looking for that Jack-of-All-Trades kind of person. Someone who understands voice and data cabling, and can run a build-out project installing CAT5/6 cabling, MDF/IDF racks, rack cleanups and other similar work.

REQUIREMENTS
Ideally live within a 20-mile radius of Natick MA.
Minimum of 2-years' experience installing CAT5/6 cabling, racks, rack cleanups and other similar work.
Possess a valid driver's license does not mind daily travel to work sites.
Ability to climb ladders, stand for extended periods and work in confined conditions.
Ability to tone and identify CO lines, crosswire old building work and assist PBX Design Engineer with installations.
Physically install Category 5/6 and Structured Cable Distribution Systems.
Installation of jacks, pulling cable, grooming and labeling cables to industry standards.
Accurately test cables to required certification parameters utilizing appropriate test equipment as required.
Determine and install closet hardware including backboards, connecting blocks, racks, patch panels and enclosures.
Although not required, candidates who have certification from any of the following will have priority consideration:
A+, N+, MCSE, MSA, MCP, CNE, CNA, and CCNA.
Strong interpersonal skills, can-do attitude, curiosity to learn, and a desire to share your knowledge with colleagues.
Ability to work on hands and knees, as well as lift and carry equipment without injury.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
