Recreation Assistant
Whitney Place at Natick is seeking a Recreation Assistant to join our growing team.

In our Tapestry Memory Care Neighborhoods, our goal is to provide a supportive environment and social structure necessary to help our residents live their lives with the greatest dignity and the fullest utilization of their capacity. Our philosophy is to provide the services necessary for residents to maintain their optimal level of independence.
Responsibilities
Provide stimulating recreational programs for elderly clients, create a safe environment, and encourage participation
Assist Activities Director in planning, organization, and implementation of recreational programs
Completes daily attendance records and documents in accordance with Federal and State requirements
Maintain high level of energy and a friendly, patient demeanor
Wednesday 9-4, Thursday 9-4, Friday 9-7 and Saturday 9-4
Requirements
High School Diploma, or equivalent
Two Years of work experience in a health care setting, in absence of degree
Ability to provide appropriate care for adult and geriatric populations
Ability to communicate effectively in English through verbal and written means
A valid Massachusetts driver's license.
