Experience:
One year specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level in the Federal Service which includes experience in:
1) Providing technical and performance data pertaining to new and existing materials used for personnel aerial delivery systems and sub systems; 2) Conducting testing and analysis results on personnel airdrop equipment and procedures to identify and resolve material or procedural deficiencies; 3) Recommend to engineers material design/redesign, revisions to airdrop procedures and modifications to training; and 4) Advising users on technical aspects of equipment operation and maintenance. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
